Catholic Schools Week 2021 Day 2
To all in our school community,
The theme for today in Catholic Schools Week is "Community".
As a community of faith we are called to offer each support and love, especially when we encounter challenges that are difficult to face. We are stronger together, especially at this time. As a school community we have been shown how to do this. Jesus himself has shown us. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Our school embodies this and was founded on the vision of Jules Chevalier, founder of the MSC's, who believed that God's love is for everyone. Nobody is left out. We have a strong tradition and association of this vision, which connects us to the wider MSC community all over the world. Our school is connected as a community universally! You can read about how we are connected: News & Media | Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (mscmissions.ie)
I have also been informed that the MSC's in the Western Road, Cork will be praying for all in our school community this week as we celebrate Catholic Schools Week.
Values of justice, love, respect, peace and wisdom will always be promoted in our school and as part of the CEIST community, we come together to draw on these values as one now more than ever. These values in our community can never be locked down or forgotten. If anything, they highlight the hope that we have within our school community.
God bless.
